Steve Sopkin, President

Steve Sopkin began making keys in the garage and pulling stockroom supplies while in Junior High School. His mom and dad, Mitzi and Jacques (that's where the name MI-JAC came from) started the company in 1971, retiring 20 years later. Steve's ambition of hiring the person with the right attitude for the job rather than the right experience has helped grow the company to become one of the largest family run security companies in San Bernardino County. In early 2009, Steve became a subject matter expert for the State of California helping to re-write the State of California exam. Involved in the community with the local police departments and how they maintain their alarm ordinances has earned Mijac great respect.

Lee comes to Mijac Alarm with an extensive background in sales and marketing. Lee's business acumen is evident from the detailed questions that come up in each conversation. Always looking out for the little guy, Lee is sure to make his mark in the security industry.

Mike O'Neill, Sales Consultant

Mike O'Neill first became friends with the owners of Mijac over 35 years ago when his family moved in next door as a kid. Competitive enough to exceed in anything Mike takes on has helped him to become a 3 handicap golfer as well as an excellent employee. A genuine concern for his customers' well being, Mike hails from Canada and speaks French fluently.

Bruce Robinson, Sales Consultant

Bruce Robinson originally applied at Mijac Alarm as an alarm technician coming to us with many years experience right out of the box. Within a very short time we realized Bruce's strengths included meeting people, listening to their concerns and being able to design great security packages that met their needs. After 17 years, Bruce still is one of our most gregarious, joyous employees.

Brian Randall, Sales Consultant - San Bernardino County Government, Special Assignment

Brian Randall has worked for Mijac in various capacities over the last 20 years. Installer, service technician, service manager and now special assignment to the San Bernardino County government facilities. A strong electrical background and a love for the community help Brian and his North Carolina accent serve his clients well.

Able to leap tall buildings with a single bound, faster than a speeding bullet, tireless as a spinning top. Janice looks after all our great employees the same way she looks after the customer, with care and thoughtfulness.

Tamera , Office Manager

Tamera's official title is "office manager" however she's really the glue that keeps us all together. Making sure the salesrep's paperwork is complete, taking care of contracts and insurance needs, Tamera is our go to person. Brenda , Bookkeeper

Brenda, our bookkeeper will work on your account until it's just the way you want it. (Just don't ask her for a discount as she'll have to go see the boss...) Credit cards, electronic payment processing, billing and A/R all fall under her scope or work.

Welcome Kim! Our newest employee.
