Phone Line Backup
Did you know your lifeline to the Monitoring Center may be compromised if your phone line is cut or tampered with?  Did you know that if you have a VoIP phone system dependent on house power to maintain a dial tone when power goes out, so does your dial tone?  By upgrading your communication link to our Central Monitoring Station with the installation of a Back Up Radio, you can be doubly protected. Mijac has setup a radio network of alarm panels that communicate much like a spiderweb of pathways to our Central Monitoring Station. Systems can grow to cover thousands of square miles, thanks to the patented store and forward technology. The range from one radio to the next depends on antenna location, building structures and terrain. Typical range for a radio with the smallest antenna is 3 to 8 miles. Range for a higher gain antenna on a rooftop or in an attic is typically 10 to 25 miles. It is important to note that range is not the only factor, and that the units allows every radio to have multiple paths by which to send alarm messages.  Contact us today to receive more infomation.
